Hey Worldchanger!
How are you feeling today?
I feel grateful and my heart is at rest
Today, we shall begin a mini series and I am super excited about it. I travelled recently and the Holyspirit gave me an analogy that almost got me screaming inside the plane. By the way, I'll love us to hit atleast a 100 subscribers by May 1st(my birthday 😊) Can you share BKspeaks with a friend and tell them to subscribe? Thank you!
To go on a journey means there is a destination. Before anyone decides they want to travel by air, there are some requirements that must be fulfilled. You need a Passport that reflects your citizenship. Without an affiliation with any country, you won't be permitted to go on a journey.
The first step to going on a journey of no return with Jesus is to get your Passport. I call it the journey of no return because with Jesus, there should be no turning back.
But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”
Luke 9:62 NLT
Salvation is what grants you access to getting your passport which reflects that you're now a citizen of the Kingdom of God. By receiving the life of Jesus and declaring him as your Lord(The president of your country), you become a citizen of the kingdom of God.
Let's not forget that after you get your passport, that is not all that you need to travel. You'll be in need of a Visa/Temporary residence card/permanent residence card to be able to go to a country. Google defines a visa as "a visa is an endorsement placed within a passport that grants the holder official permission to enter, leave or stay in a country for a specified time period."
In this Kingdom, after becoming a citizen and getting our passports, it already came with a visa. Hallelujah! We have been granted a seal/endorsement that grants us access into places in God. Our visa is the Holyghost!
[He has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise].
2 Corinthians 1:22 AMPC
One final thing I will speak about in this 1st part of our series is travel ticket. A travel ticket is a pass that authorises you to make a journey. Our one-way ticket in this kingdom is Faith. I call it one-way because it is a journey of no return. You might ask, BK why Faith? This is because what allowed you to begin this journey is Faith and what will keep you till the end is Faith!
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
Did this bless you? Share your insights with me, I'll love to hear from you.
